This shock features a high-pressure nitrogen-charged damper and a steel monotube design with an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) for exceptional performance, even at higher speeds. Its hard-chrome, precision-ground piston rod and deflective disc valving ensure smooth, controlled damping, while the threaded preload adjuster and included spanner wrench make fine-tuning easy. Proudly made in the USA. Note: This M8 Softail “Slammer Shock” lowers the rear of the motorcycle; side-stand modification may be required.
